- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9Γ13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, prepare cake batter according to package instructions, using melted butter and milk.
- Pour half the cake batter into the prepared pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in chopped strawberries and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter, then top with the remaining cake batter. Use a knife to gently swirl layers together.
- Bake 35β40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the gooey, fruity, chocolatey goodness!
