  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for holiday flavor)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add carrots and cook 6–8 minutes until just tender. Drain well.
