These Perfect Glazed Carrots are tender, buttery, and sweet with a glossy glaze. A festive side dish for both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

- 2 lbs carrots, peeled and cut into sticks or rounds
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp brown sugar (or honey)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional, for holiday flavor)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add carrots and cook 6–8 minutes until just tender. Drain well.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, salt, pepper, and cinnamon if using.
- Add the carrots to the skillet and toss until coated in the glaze.
- Cook 3–5 minutes, stirring often, until the glaze thickens and carrots are glossy.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm.
Notes
Make ahead tip: Boil carrots a day early, then reheat in glaze before serving. For extra holiday flair, drizzle with maple syrup or sprinkle with candied pecans.
