Ingredients

  • 2-inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced thinly

Instructions

  1. Simmer: In a saucepan, bring water and sliced ginger to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Strain: Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a glass or jar. Discard ginger slices.
