Ingredients

  • 2 inches fresh turmeric root, peeled (or 1 tsp ground turmeric)
  • 2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon raw honey (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup water or coconut water (to blend)

Instructions

  1. Blend: Add turmeric, ginger, orange juice, lemon juice, water, honey, and black pepper to a blender. Blend until very smooth.
  2. Strain: Pour through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a jar or shot bottles.
