Description
Garlic Butter Salmon is a rich and flavorful dish where tender salmon fillets are pan-seared and coated in a luscious garlic butter sauce. It’s an easy, elegant meal perfect for weeknights or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the Salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Sear the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes, until golden.
- Flip and Add Butter: Flip salmon and add butter to the pan. Once melted, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Glaze and Cook Through: Spoon garlic butter over salmon continuously for 2-3 more minutes. Add lemon juice and cook 1 more minute.
- Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
Use high-quality butter for the best flavor. If using skin-on salmon, make sure to get it nice and crispy before flipping. Pairs well with rice, quinoa, or roasted veggies.
