7 Key Ingredients for the Perfect Frozen Strawberry Margarita Blast

  • Author: recipeinspire
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 margaritas 1x

Description

This Frozen Strawberry Margarita is the ultimate summertime sipper — icy, fruity, and perfectly balanced with tangy lime and smooth tequila. It’s blended to frosty perfection and ready to cool down any day or fiesta!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 2 oz silver tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec (or orange liqueur)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Optional: sugar or salt for rim, lime wedge and strawberry for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rim (Optional): Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in sugar or salt.
  2. Blend: Add frozen strawberries, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice to a blender.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and slushy, about 30 seconds.
  4. Serve: Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with a lime wedge and fresh strawberry if desired.
  5. Enjoy: Sip and chill — this one’s pure strawberry bliss in a glass!

Notes

For a boozier version, add a splash more tequila. Prefer a sweeter sip? Use agave nectar or more simple syrup. Swap fresh strawberries for frozen if you’re using more ice. Make it a mocktail by omitting the alcohol and using orange juice instead.
