Description
Fizzy Red Sangria is a fun, bubbly version of the classic Spanish punch. Infused with juicy citrus, sweet berries, and a splash of soda or sparkling wine, it’s refreshing, vibrant, and perfect for parties, brunches, or backyard lounging.
Ingredients

- 1 bottle (750ml) dry red wine (like Garnacha or Merlot)
- ½ cup brandy
- ¼ cup triple sec or orange liqueur
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 cup strawberries, halved
- 1 cup sparkling water, club soda, or lemon-lime soda
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Mix the Base: In a large pitcher, combine red wine, brandy, triple sec, orange juice, and sugar or honey if using. Stir well until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the Fruit: Add sliced orange, lemon, and strawberries. Stir gently.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours to infuse the flavors.
- Add Fizz & Serve: Right before serving, stir in the sparkling water or soda and lots of ice. Garnish with mint if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
For extra sparkle, use Prosecco instead of soda. You can substitute raspberries or blueberries for strawberries, or use a mix. Freeze some of the fruit to use as ice cubes without dilution.
