Description

A vibrant and fruity fall sangria with seasonal fruits and warm spices. Perfect for autumn gatherings, Thanksgiving, or cozy evenings with friends and family.


Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine (750 ml, such as Merlot or Pinot Noir)
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 pear, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Sparkling water or ginger ale (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine red wine, brandy, and apple cider. Stir well.
  2. Add apple, pear, orange slices, fresh cranberries, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours to allow flavors to blend.
  4. Before serving, add ice cubes and a splash of sparkling water or ginger ale for a fizzy touch.
  5. Serve chilled in glasses, garnished with fruit slices and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

For a sweeter sangria, add a little honey or maple syrup. Non-alcoholic version: substitute red wine and brandy with grape juice and apple cider.
