  • 1 lb fresh salmon, cooked and flaked
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 23 tbsp sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 sheet nori, cut into strips for garnish
  • Optional: sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

  1. Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  2. Prepare spicy salmon mixture: In a bowl, combine flaked salmon, mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  3. Layer the bake: Spread cooked sushi rice evenly in the prepared baking dish. Top with the spicy salmon mixture and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and slightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven and garnish with nori strips, sliced green onions, and sesame seeds.
  6. Serve warm, scooping portions onto individual plates or over seaweed for a sushi-style experience.

Notes

Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated gently.
