- 2 cups cooked sushi rice
- 1 lb salmon fillet, cooked and flaked
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Sriracha or preferred hot sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
- 2 sheets nori, cut into small pieces for garnish
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds

- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- Prepare rice layer: Spread cooked sushi rice evenly in the bottom of the prepared dish.
- Prepare salmon layer: In a bowl, mix flaked salmon with mayonnaise, Sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Assemble bake: Spread the spicy salmon mixture evenly over the rice.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 10–12 minutes until heated through and slightly golden on top.
- Garnish and serve: Top with sliced avocado, nori pieces, green onions, and sesame seeds. Serve warm or at room temperature with soy sauce on the side.
Notes
For extra crunch, sprinkle tempura flakes on top before serving. You can also substitute cooked shrimp or imitation crab for salmon for variation.
