This Easy Potsticker Soup is warm, cozy, and incredibly flavorfulβmade with frozen potstickers, veggies, broth, and simple seasonings. Itβs a quick 20-minute meal that tastes like comfort in a bowl and delivers all the satisfying flavors of dumplings without the work! π₯π
Ingredients

- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups coleslaw mix or shredded cabbage
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 2β3 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp chili crisp or sriracha (optional)
- 1 package frozen potstickers (about 12β16)
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds & extra green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, cooking 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add coleslaw mix, carrots, green onions, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Simmer 5 minutes.
- Drop in the frozen potstickers and cook 6β8 minutes, or until tender and heated through.
- Stir in chili crisp or sriracha if using, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Ladle into bowls and garnish with sesame seeds and more green onions. Serve warm.
Notes
Add mushrooms, baby spinach, or bok choy for extra veggies. Use vegetable broth and veggie potstickers for a vegetarian version! For a richer broth, stir in 1β2 teaspoons miso paste at the end.
