Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Skewers (metal or soaked wooden)
- Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Marinate: In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, garlic, lime juice, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
- Skewer: Thread shrimp onto skewers, about 4–5 per skewer.
- Grill: Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high. Grill skewers for 2–3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped herbs and serve hot with lime wedges.
Notes
Don’t overcook the shrimp — they cook quickly and can become rubbery. Add bell peppers or pineapple chunks to skewers for extra flavor and color.
