  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: lemon wedges for serving

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
  7. Optional: stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  9. Simmer for 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables. Add a squeeze of lemon for brightness or red pepper flakes for heat.
