  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground meat over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  2. Add meat to the crockpot along with onion, garlic, and bell peppers.
  3. Stir in diced tomatoes, beans, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours.
  5. Stir occasionally. Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
  6. Serve hot with optional garnishes like cheese, sour cream, or cilantro.

Notes
