  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme (or 1/2 tsp dried thyme)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat butter and olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
