This Easy Classic Red Sangria is a refreshing and fruity Spanish-inspired drink made with red wine, brandy, citrus, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for summer parties, BBQs, and holiday gatherings, it’s quick to make and always a crowd-pleaser.

- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine
- 1/4 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (optional)
- 2 tbsp sugar or honey (to taste)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1–2 cups club soda or lemon-lime soda
- Ice cubes, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and sugar or honey. Stir until the sweetener is dissolved.
- Add orange, lemon, lime, and apple slices. Stir well.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight, to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, add club soda or lemon-lime soda for fizz.
- Serve chilled over ice with extra fruit garnish.
Notes
For extra sweetness, use lemon-lime soda instead of club soda. You can also swap in seasonal fruits like peaches, berries, or pomegranate for a twist.
