Description
This Easy Chocolate Tiramisu comes together in just 20 minutes—no eggs, no baking, and no stress! Layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone, and rich cocoa make this an indulgent dessert that feels fancy but is shockingly simple.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
- 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur or milk (optional)
- 7 oz (200g) ladyfinger cookies
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 oz (225g) mascarpone cheese
- ⅓ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)
- 1 oz dark chocolate, shaved (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Whip the Cream: In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
- Mix Mascarpone: In another bowl, beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in the whipped cream gently until combined.
- Dip the Ladyfingers: Combine coffee with coffee liqueur (if using). Quickly dip each ladyfinger in the coffee mixture—just a second or two to avoid sogginess.
- Layer: In a small dish or individual glasses, layer dipped ladyfingers, then half the mascarpone mixture. Repeat with a second layer of dipped ladyfingers and remaining cream.
- Finish & Chill: Dust with cocoa powder and top with chocolate shavings. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving (or enjoy right away if you’re in a hurry!).
Notes
Use decaf coffee for a caffeine-free version. Swap mascarpone with cream cheese in a pinch. Make ahead and refrigerate overnight for an even richer flavor and texture.
