Description
This Easy Caprese Dip is a warm, melty appetizer loaded with fresh mozzarella, sweet cherry tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Finished with fresh basil and served with crusty bread, it’s the perfect party starter or summer snack!

- 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced or torn
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh basil leaves, for topping
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
- Crusty bread or baguette slices, for serving
Instructions
- Prep the Tomatoes: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss halved cherry tomatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread in a small baking dish.
- Add Cheese: Layer the mozzarella on top of the tomatoes. Sprinkle with Parmesan if using.
- Bake: Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until cheese is melty and bubbly.
- Finish & Serve: Remove from oven, top with fresh basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Serve warm with toasted bread for dipping.
Notes
You can make this dip in a cast iron skillet or any oven-safe dish. Add crushed garlic or red pepper flakes for extra flavor. Best served immediately for that gooey cheese pull!
