Description
This Dirty Dr. Pepper is a creamy, tropical twist on the classic soda—just like the Sonic favorite! Made with coconut syrup, lime, and a splash of cream, it’s smooth, fizzy, and totally refreshing.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (12 oz) Dr. Pepper, chilled
- 1 tablespoon coconut syrup (like Torani or homemade)
- 1/2 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon half-and-half or heavy cream
- Ice
- Lime wedge and maraschino cherry, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Fill Glass with Ice: Add ice to a tall glass, filling about 3/4 of the way.
- Add Flavor: Pour in coconut syrup and lime juice.
- Add the Soda: Slowly pour in Dr. Pepper to avoid foaming over.
- Cream It Up: Add half-and-half or cream and stir gently.
- Garnish & Serve: Top with a lime wedge or cherry, and enjoy immediately!
Notes
For a lighter version, use coconut extract + simple syrup instead of coconut syrup. Want it frozen? Blend with ice for a Dirty Dr. Pepper slush! This is perfect for parties, summer drinks, or Sonic fans at home.
