- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and Italian seasoning. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the pan and simmer 5–7 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra depth, add a splash of white wine before the broth. Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes to soak up the sauce.
