- 4 medium sweet potatoes, washed and scrubbed
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Butter or maple syrup, for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a fork, poke a few holes in each sweet potato to allow steam to escape.
- Rub each sweet potato lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt if desired.
- Place on the baking sheet and bake for 45β60 minutes, until tender when pierced with a fork.
- Slice open, fluff the insides with a fork, and serve warm with butter or maple syrup.
