Description
The Cucumber Mint Gin Fizz is a refreshing, herbaceous cocktail that’s light, bubbly, and perfect for summer. Fresh cucumber and mint are muddled with gin and lime juice, then topped with fizzy club soda for a crisp finish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- ¾ oz simple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 3–4 cucumber slices
- 4–6 fresh mint leaves
- Club soda, to top
- Ice
- Garnish: cucumber ribbon, mint sprig, lime wedge
Instructions
- Muddle: In a shaker, muddle cucumber and mint with lime juice and simple syrup to release flavors.
- Shake: Add gin and ice, then shake well until chilled.
- Strain & Top: Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with club soda and stir gently.
- Garnish & Serve: Add a cucumber ribbon and mint sprig for garnish. Serve immediately.
Notes
For an extra-chilled drink, shake with crushed ice or serve in a frosted glass. Use a floral or cucumber-forward gin for the best flavor pairing. Can be made into a mocktail by omitting gin and adding extra club soda or tonic.
