  • 1 lb smoked kielbasa, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

  1. Add green beans, chopped onion, and garlic to the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Place sliced kielbasa on top of the vegetables.
  3. Pour chicken broth, soy sauce, olive oil, and black pepper over the top.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2–3 hours, until green beans are tender.
  5. Stir gently before serving to combine flavors.
  6. Optional: sprinkle red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.

Notes

For added flavor, sear the kielbasa in a skillet before adding to the crockpot. Works well as a main dish or side. Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days.
