- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour (or cornstarch for gluten-free)
- Fresh parsley for garnish

- Place chicken breasts, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika into the crockpot.
- Pour chicken broth over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours until chicken is fully cooked and tender.
- Remove chicken and shred or slice.
- In a small bowl, mix flour/cornstarch with a little cold water to make a slurry.
- Stir slurry into the crockpot with butter and heavy cream; cook 10–15 minutes until gravy thickens.
- Return chicken to the crockpot, coat with gravy, and garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. For extra flavor, add thyme or rosemary to the gravy.
