Description
Crispy Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon is a restaurant-worthy dish that’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, coated in a sticky-sweet garlic glaze. It’s the perfect combo of sweet, savory, and crispy in every bite—ready in just 20 minutes!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on recommended)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Sliced green onions or sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Sear for Crispiness: Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
- Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Pour into the skillet and reduce heat to medium-low.
- Glaze the Salmon: Spoon glaze over salmon as it thickens, about 2-3 minutes, until sticky and well-coated.
- Serve: Transfer salmon to plates, spoon remaining glaze on top, and garnish as desired.
Notes
To avoid overcooking, remove salmon just before it’s fully opaque. Serve with steamed veggies, rice, or quinoa for a balanced meal.
