- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes, lemon zest, fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Sprinkle half of the Parmesan over the green beans and toss to coat.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 15–18 minutes, or until crispy and golden around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley, lemon zest, or red pepper flakes if desired.
Notes
For extra crispiness, make sure the green beans are dry before seasoning. You can also use finely shredded Parmesan for a cheesier crust. Great with chicken, steak, or holiday meals!
