Description
These Creepy Halloween Eyeball Jello Shots are spooky, fun, and guaranteed to be the talk of your Halloween party! Made with bright red gelatin, a boozy kick, and topped with eerie gummy eyeballs — they’re equal parts festive and frightful.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (6 oz) box cherry or strawberry gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup vodka (or use more cold water for non-alcoholic)
- Gummy eyeballs or candy eyeballs (1 per shot)
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
- Plastic shot cups (2 oz size)
Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin: In a mixing bowl, whisk the gelatin with 1 cup boiling water until fully dissolved.
- Add liquids: Stir in 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka. Mix well.
- Fill cups: Pour mixture into plastic shot cups, leaving a little space at the top. Chill in fridge for 2–3 hours until set.
- Decorate: Once firm, top each shot with a gummy eyeball. Add whipped cream for extra spooky flair if desired.
- Serve: Keep chilled until serving and enjoy responsibly!
Notes
For a kid-friendly version, skip the vodka and use all cold water. You can also swap cherry gelatin for lime or grape for a different eerie effect. Store covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
