- 1 lb spicy ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for extra heat
- Fresh parsley for garnish

- Cook tortellini according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook ground meat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté until fragrant and soft.
- Stir in diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Simmer 3–4 minutes.
- Lower heat and add heavy cream and Parmesan. Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss to coat with sauce.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh tortellini for a quicker cook time. You can substitute spicy sausage with regular sausage or ground turkey for a milder version.
