  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add heavy cream and simmer for 3–5 minutes until creamy.
  6. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat, adding pasta water if needed.
  8. Garnish with herbs and serve immediately.
