- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sour cream or cream cheese
- 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

- Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (internal temperature 165°F / 74°C). Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add heavy cream, sour cream (or cream cheese), and ranch seasoning. Stir and cook 2–3 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and cover until melted, about 2–3 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or chives before serving.
Notes
Serve over rice, pasta, or with roasted vegetables. For extra flavor, add cooked bacon bits or sautéed mushrooms to the sauce.
