- 12 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- Optional: spinach or peas
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add kielbasa slices and brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion until soft, then add garlic.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add pasta, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Return kielbasa to skillet and add vegetables if using.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until creamy and thick.
- Garnish and serve hot.
