Ingredients

  • 12 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • Optional: spinach or peas
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add kielbasa slices and brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion until soft, then add garlic.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add pasta, cover, and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  7. Return kielbasa to skillet and add vegetables if using.
  8. Simmer 2–3 minutes until creamy and thick.
  9. Garnish and serve hot.
