- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 4 cups beef or chicken broth
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional garnish: shredded cheese, green onions, tortilla chips

- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Add onion and garlic; sauté 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in chili powder, smoked paprika, and cumin; cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 15–20 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot with optional garnishes.
Notes
For extra heat, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce. You can also serve over rice or with cornbread for a heartier meal.
