Description

This Cranberry Jalapeño Dip is the perfect holiday appetizer! A sweet, spicy, and tangy blend of cranberries, jalapeños, and cream cheese that’s festive, colorful, and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 12 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Crackers or toasted baguette slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Pulse cranberries: In a food processor, pulse cranberries until finely chopped (not pureed).
  2. Mix salsa: Transfer to a bowl and stir in sugar, green onions, jalapeños, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Chill for at least 2 hours or overnight to allow flavors to blend.
  3. Prepare base: Spread cream cheese evenly onto a serving platter or shallow dish.
  4. Top and serve: Spoon cranberry mixture over cream cheese and serve with crackers or baguette slices.

Notes

Make the cranberry topping a day ahead for best flavor. Adjust jalapeños to taste depending on your spice preference.
