Ingredients

  • 6 slices white bread, cubed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: green onions or bell peppers for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9Γ—13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Layer cubed bread in the prepared baking dish. Top with cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese.
