Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry red wine (such as Rioja or Merlot)

- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1 apple, diced
- 1–2 cups sparkling water or lemon-lime soda
- Ice cubes, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and sugar. Stir well until sugar is dissolved.
- Add sliced orange, lemon, lime, and diced apple. Mix to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Before serving, top with sparkling water or soda for extra refreshment.
- Serve chilled over ice, adding fruit to each glass.
Notes
For a sweeter sangria, increase sugar or use soda instead of sparkling water. Try adding peaches, berries, or pineapple for a fun twist.
