- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet and slightly flatten each mound.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool for 5 minutes on the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra softness, store cookies in an airtight container with a slice of bread. You can freeze the dough for future baking.
