This Classic Apple Cider Sangria is a cozy, fall-inspired cocktail. Combining apple cider, red wine, brandy, and fresh seasonal fruit, it’s perfect for autumn parties, Thanksgiving, or chilly evenings.

- 2 cups apple cider
- 1 bottle (750 ml) red wine (Merlot, Tempranillo, or Cabernet Sauvignon)
- 1/3 cup brandy
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (optional)
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1 orange, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds (optional)
- 1–2 cinnamon sticks
- 1–2 cups sparkling water or club soda (optional, for fizz)
- Ice cubes, for serving
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine apple cider, red wine, brandy, and orange liqueur. Stir well.
- Add apple slices, orange slices, pomegranate seeds, and cinnamon sticks.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to let the flavors meld.
- Before serving, add sparkling water or club soda for a fizzy option if desired.
- Serve over ice and garnish with extra fruit slices or a cinnamon stick.
Notes
For a sweeter sangria, add a bit of honey or maple syrup. You can also warm it gently for a cozy mulled wine variation.
