These Cinnamon-Baked Pears are a warm, cozy dessert that highlights the natural sweetness of pears with a touch of cinnamon and honey. Perfect for fall or as a light holiday treat.

- 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)
- Vanilla yogurt or ice cream, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place pear halves cut-side up in the dish.
- Drizzle with honey or maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Top with nuts and dried fruit if using.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until pears are tender.
- Serve warm with vanilla yogurt or ice cream.
Notes
Bosc or Anjou pears work best for baking. Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey. Great make-ahead dessert for gatherings.
