  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas, warmed
  • For serving:
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage or slaw mix
  • ¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • Optional: sliced avocado, pickled onions, hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Marinate Shrimp: In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice and zest, garlic, cilantro, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Marinate for 15–20 minutes.
  2. Make Sauce: In a small bowl, mix sour cream with lime juice and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  3. Cook Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  4. Assemble Tacos: Add shrimp to warm tortillas, top with slaw, drizzle with lime sauce, and add any extra toppings you like.

Notes

Use Greek yogurt for a lighter sauce, or spice things up with chipotle or jalapeño. These also work great with grilled shrimp or on lettuce wraps for a low-carb version.
