- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups semisweet or milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles or crushed candy canes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared pan.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Stir constantly and bring to a gentle boil for 3 minutes.
- Pour the toffee mixture evenly over the crackers and spread with a spatula.
- Bake for 5 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Let sit for 2 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly. Add sprinkles or candy cane pieces for a festive touch.
