- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness.
- Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and nearly cooked through.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and smashed garlic to the skillet.
- Spoon melted garlic butter over chicken for 1–2 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from heat and rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For true steakhouse flavor, let chicken rest at room temperature 15 minutes before cooking. Serve with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
