  • 4 small round bread loaves (sourdough or bakery rolls)
  • 2 cups cooked shredded or diced chicken
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing bread)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (for bread bowls)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off each bread loaf and hollow out the centers to form bowls. Place on a baking sheet.
  3. Brush the inside of each bread bowl with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly toasted.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Whisk in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer until slightly thickened.
  7. Stir in the cooked chicken and heat through.
  8. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture into the garlic bread bowls.
  9. Top each bowl with shredded mozzarella.
  10. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm!

Notes

💡 Tip: Add spinach, broccoli, or mushrooms to the Alfredo for extra flavor! You can also use leftover rotisserie chicken to make this even easier.
