These Cheesy Halloween Breadstick Bones are spooky, savory, and scarily good! Shaped like bones and stuffed with gooey cheese, they’re baked to golden perfection and served with warm marinara “blood” for dipping — the ultimate Halloween appetizer or party snack!
Ingredients

- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough or crescent dough sheet
- 6 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut in half
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan (optional)
- 1 cup marinara sauce, warmed (for dipping)
- Cooking spray or parchment paper
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Shape the bones: Roll out dough and cut into 12 equal strips. Flatten slightly, place a piece of mozzarella in the center of each, and wrap to seal. Shape ends of each strip into bone “knobs.”
- Season: Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan if using.
- Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Serve: Serve warm with heated marinara “blood” in a bowl for creepy dipping.
Notes
For an extra gory effect, swirl a little red food coloring into the marinara. You can also stuff the bones with pepperoni or serve with ranch for extra dipping variety.
