Description
These Cheese & Cranberry Bites are the perfect festive appetizer—flaky, buttery, sweet, and savory all at once. Made with puff pastry, creamy Brie, and tangy cranberry sauce, they’re easy to assemble and ideal for Christmas parties, Thanksgiving gatherings, or holiday snacking.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 wheel Brie cheese, cut into small cubes
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tbsp honey (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
- Cut the puff pastry into 24 small squares and press each square into a mini muffin cup.
- Place a cube of Brie into each pastry cup.
- Add a small spoonful of cranberry sauce on top of each piece of Brie.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with egg wash.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden, puffed, and bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle lightly with honey if desired.
- Garnish with chopped rosemary and serve warm.
Notes
For variety, try replacing Brie with goat cheese or camembert. You can make these ahead by assembling them and refrigerating for up to 24 hours before baking. They’re best served warm, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven for 5 minutes.
