- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat a grill pan, skillet, or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and slice it into 1–1.5 inch thick “steaks.”
- Brush both sides generously with olive oil, then season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Place the cauliflower steaks onto the hot grill and cook 5–6 minutes per side, until deeply charred and tender.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the hot steaks and let it melt slightly.
- Garnish with herbs and serve with lemon wedges for brightness.
