Description
This Chamomile Citrus Iced Tea is a calming, citrusy infusion made with floral chamomile tea and bright lemon and orange juice. Naturally caffeine-free and lightly sweetened, it’s the perfect refreshment for hot days or a relaxing evening sip.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups water
- 4 chamomile tea bags (or ¼ cup dried chamomile flowers)
- ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (to taste)
- Ice, for serving
- Garnish: orange slices, lemon wheels, fresh mint (optional)
Instructions
- Steep Tea: Bring water to a boil, then remove from heat. Add chamomile tea bags and steep for 5–7 minutes.
- Sweeten: Remove tea bags and stir in honey while tea is still warm. Let it cool slightly.
- Add Citrus: Stir in fresh orange juice and lemon juice. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
- Serve: Pour over ice and garnish with citrus slices and mint if desired.
Notes
Great with sparkling water for a fizzy twist. You can use agave or skip sweetener entirely for a more tart version. Keeps well for up to 3 days refrigerated.
