Description
A sweet and cozy fall sangria featuring crisp apples, caramel, and white wine. Perfect for autumn gatherings, brunches, or a festive drink for holiday parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bottle white wine (750 ml, such as Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio)
- 1/2 cup caramel liqueur (or caramel syrup)
- 1/4 cup brandy (optional)
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 1 pear, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- Ice cubes, as needed
- Sparkling water or soda (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine white wine, caramel liqueur, brandy, and apple cider. Stir well.
- Add apple and pear slices, then sprinkle in cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Refrigerate for at least 2–4 hours, or overnight, to allow flavors to meld.
- Before serving, add ice cubes and a splash of sparkling water or soda if desired.
- Serve chilled in glasses, garnished with apple slices or a drizzle of caramel.
Notes
For extra flair, drizzle a bit of caramel on the inside of the glasses before pouring the sangria. Non-alcoholic version: use apple juice instead of wine and skip brandy.
