  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Apple Layer:
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • Streusel Topping:
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • Drizzle:
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Make crust: Combine flour, brown sugar, and butter until crumbly. Press into prepared pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare cheesecake layer: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Spread over warm crust.
  4. Apple layer: Toss diced apples with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spoon evenly over cheesecake layer.
  5. Streusel topping: Mix brown sugar, flour, oats, and butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
  6. Bake: Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until center is set. Cool completely.
  7. Finish & serve: Drizzle with caramel sauce before slicing into bars.

Notes

For extra indulgence, use homemade salted caramel sauce. Store bars in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
