Description
These Candy Corn Cakepops are festive, fun, and full of sweet Halloween charm! Inspired by the classic candy, each pop has tri-colored layers of cake and candy melts, making them perfect for parties, trick-or-treat tables, or edible gifts.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups crumbled vanilla or yellow cake (baked and cooled)
- 1/3 cup vanilla frosting
- Yellow, orange, and white candy melts
- Lollipop sticks
- Sprinkles (optional)
- Styrofoam block or stand (for drying)
Instructions
- Make cake balls: In a bowl, mix crumbled cake with frosting until dough-like. Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls. Chill in freezer for 15–20 minutes.
- Insert sticks: Melt a small amount of white candy melts. Dip tip of each stick and insert into cake balls. Chill again to secure.
- Dip and layer: Melt yellow candy melts and dip 2/3 of each ball. Chill until set. Repeat with orange melts for the middle layer. Finish with white melts on top.
- Decorate: Optionally add sprinkles while the top layer is wet. Stick pops upright in a foam block to dry completely.
- Serve: Once hardened, they’re ready to enjoy or wrap as Halloween treats!
