- 1 cup assorted candy bars, chopped (Snickers, Reese’s, M&M’s, KitKats, etc.)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional, for extra fudginess)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, whisking until combined.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold until just combined — do not overmix.
- Stir in chocolate chips if using. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle chopped candy evenly over the top and gently press them into the batter.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until edges are set but the center is slightly fudgy. Do not overbake.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares for neat slices.
